Clear here in Seattle? Ha!

We got a break back in 2001 for the ultimate Leonid shower ever, then it clouded over again the next day. We totally lucked out!

This year? Not a chance.

METEOR shower guys ... Meteorites when these fall on the ground ... not so unlikely as last month a wooden shed burned down in Bochum - Germany after being hit by a Meteorite

Well I got up at 4:30 and scanned the skies until 5am. Here in London there was 1 octa of cloud and despite the artifical light reflection it was possible to see the odd satellite. In half an hour of scanning though I think I saw 3 meteors so it wasn't very inpressive. Other websites had predicted much fewer meteors per hour.

Thanks for posting as I would not have known otherwise. We had semi clear skies here and I was able to see a couple in the short time I was outside.
