John Glenn introduced John Kerry & John Edwards to Cleveland audience of about 2000.
All 3 signed, Glenn appears to have taken a bus back to columbus, indicating he may not be introducing the other two Johns in Dayton today. |

John Glenn was indeed at the rally in Dayton. Although I decided not to go to it, I did see photos and news articles of his appearence. He also introduced Kerry at a rally in Columbus on June 15 and appeared with him the entire day. I was surprised to see Glenn travel around Ohio with the Kerry campain - I guess politicians never quit. |

John Glenn is no longer an official politician, but is still one of the most well known hereos and most honest & moral individuals of our time. What politician wouldn't want him to stand by them while
running for political office, though it is a currently partisan polital arena strong environment. It is also known that more Americans (though it is not a fact) think he walked on the moon first, not the completely diffent personality/person of Neil Ag. |

It's sad that he endorses the candidate who doesn't have a vision for the space program.

John Kerry (with Edwards - I think) will speak in Cape Canaveral, Fl on Mon 7/26. I hope he feels compelled by his surroundings to speak about his vision for the space program. If anyone attends could they share with us if he mentions anything at all on the topic of space. |

How are Sen. Kerry and Sen. Edwards going to be able to make an appearance at Cape Canaveral on July 26 with the Democratic National Convention Being held in Boston on the same date ? |

Both John AND Annie Glenn appeared at a rally for Kerry in Zanesville (not far from Glenns boyhood home)on Sat 7/31. It was quit a surprise to see Annie with the political gang. John Kerry did mention what an honor it was for him to climb aboard the shuttle last week with two people who have actually flown in space Glenn and Bill Nelson. Annie does sign autographs as well.
She & John have been together nearly their entire lives, I'm surprised she doesn't appear in the political limelight with John more often. |
