Well, I am totally blown away by this - Jerrie Cobb is making a special effort to return from the Amazonas to attend our show! As you may or may not know, Jerrie is quite busy down there and only comes to the US on occasion these days. She is still flying her Aero Commander down there on mercy missions, efforts for which she was nominated for a Nobel Prize for some years ago. So come see Jerrie who would be making a rare public appearance, and who will be signing for free. She will also be bringing some of her books for sale too. There seems to be some confusion as to the girls charging. Actually we suggested a $5 fee to simply cover their airfare as they are not rich. So it should be a $5 DONATION rather than a fee. Sorry for our confusion.
In Jerrie Cobbs case, donations to her Foundation are gladly accepted as well, but none are mandatory. I will have some 8x10 photos of their Logo for sale - an excellent piece to have signed by them. Cheers, Al

Hi Al- This is really great news-[Where have you been blown too?} Only joking-friend.To meet Jerri Cobb along with the other Mercury 13 ladies will be a treat for me- us ladies can get together for a chat-
The phots sound a good idea, so do a $5 Fee-think I saw her Aero Command plane-not sure.
Al- can you tell us in the UK when our tickets are coming please, am leaving Island on wed.night 19th, then 20th to Florida. Just a thought-Ted is wondering-like. Only a few weeks,and off we go. Cannot wait to see you, John Masters,Rex and others from Collect Space. Got a lot of e-mails from guys-nice get together.

No not on this forum can I tell you where I went.  Im thrilled shes chosen to come all the way from S America to join us! As far as tickets, once payment is received for the banquet and cocktail party tickets, I mail them out. For the admission tickets they will be available at the door. Cheers! AL | |
