I must say i had a great time at the Space Weekend put on by the Starchaser team near Manchester this weekend.
To see the Nova rocket was cool enough but the rest of the displays of space technology were really impressive too.The starchaser staff were more than pleased to talk on rocketry or about the X prize which they hope to gain for Britain and Steve Bennett is a great all round guy.
I must also mention Andrew Carson,a fellow CollectSpace member who put on a great dislay of his own with some fantastic autographs connected to the Apollo programme.
Cant wait till the next weekend.

Hi Gang
I took a trip up to Manchester today(15/6/03) with the family to the Starchaser open day.It was worth the drive (99 miles) to meet Steve Bennett and the team.I was very impressed with the setup that they had got and I recommend any C/s members to take time to go to any future open days.The team and Steve Bennett makes you feel welcome as soon as you step inside the VAB and was able to spend time answer any questions put to them.
It was also nice to meet C/s member Andrew Carson with his impessive collection display for all to see,(well done mate).So check there web site for any future events you wont be disapointed.
All the best to the everyone at the Starchaser team.

Hi Ian, and David, and all who attendedIt was great to finally meet you Ian after all the E-mails that have passed between us.
It was nice to meet David Stephenson - a new member of Collectspace Com..and of course your families too.... I have enjoyed my two days at the Starchaser Open Day(s) displaying some of the pieces that I have managed to collect over the last few years. It`s nice to be able to display these items for all to see...I have enjoyed answering peoples questions about my collection, and the meteorite we had on display. I hope you all enjoyed the visit to the VAB, and the display of, rockets and hardware that where on show. I would like to take the opportunity on behalf of the team at Starchaser Industries to thank everyone who attended the function for their interest and support...it was great to see you all.
