On June 21st in Tewksbury, MA, an Air & Space day 2003 event (See Sightings) will be held to help raise money to purchase a telescope for the town. We will be having raffles. One grand prize will be Al Beans print " The Fantasy". The print was bought from NOVA SPACE. Thank you Kim Poor. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.If any collectspace member wishes to help us out and buy some tickets, email me and I will send you my address. We will also be selling other items to help raise money. As soon as I get a list, I will pass it on to you. We are also looking for volunteers to help out and of course, donations. We are expecting lots of people to attend this fun event. We hope to add more events and maybe other surprises. If you have any questions or suggestions for us, please feel free to email me or leave a posting. Thanks alot and we hope to see some collectspace fans at the event! |

Update! Gemini/Apollo astronaut Dick Gordon is coming to the Air & Space Day 2003 in MA. This event will include the "Patriot" an 18 story high Spaceshuttle-the worlds largest freeform hot air balloon. NASA- MAEL lab,paragliders, skydiving, model rocketry, astronomers, telescopes, members of the Ninetynines,Hot air ballons, F-22 attack simulator, helicopter rides, schools and much much more. So anyone who lives within 2 hours of MA would definitly have a great time if they drove up to the event. We are also trying to get Collectspace members to join us for some beer and good laughs!
