Hi All
Just a quick question but what do you all type in on the search engine on EBAY when looking for Space Memoribilia items.
I usually type in Space, Astronauts, or Nasa.
Just trying to get some tips.
Happy collecting

Hi Andrew
Thanks for the info, i have never purchased from the american Ebay site before so i was wondering whether it is safe to do so.
I have noticed that there is a lot more space related items on the american one and have been tempted on numerous occasions.
Happy collecting

Hi Rob,

I dont tend to buy autographs from E Bay in the US. I tend to stick to dealers, and where possible Astronauts themselves.
I havent had any problems in buying stuff from the US...have always found the people I have dealt with most helpful.

If your not sure about anything or anyone just put a post on here ..there always seems like plenty of help on stuff your not sure about. The US e bay has feedback and stuff on it it gives you an idea of who your dealing with...I`ve only had good experiences with stuff I have bought.
I`ve nearly got enough spares to build my own LEM!!!!

Regards,

Andrew

P.s. are you going to Autographica ??

Hi Rob,
Handy hint, a number of US eBay sellers state that they only ship to the US (I think it's the default option when listing). In these cases I use the 'Ask seller a question' feature. Just state that you'd like to bid but as you're in the UK you're asking first.
Tell them that you can pay them in US$ by either Paypal or Bidpay (you'll need to register with both) and that you'll obviously pay the extra postal costs.
Unless they have a real aversion to making a trip to the post office about 95% of sellers are usually happy to sell to you.
I buy almost all of my collection from the US and have rarely experienced any problems. Good luck!
Cheers,
Matt
