I received my issue of the Space Unit's Astrophile (Journal of Astrophilately) about 10 days ago and want to commend those involved in such a very well-done and informative issue.

Tom Steiner's article entitled "Mars, The Red Planet" gives a great history of the many attempts to explore the red planet, along with illustrations of classic covers of all the failures, fly-bys, orbitings and landings.

And Steve Garner presents a wonderful illustrated history and record of the many covers done by the Rockwell Space Division Stamp Club.

Other authors have also presented very interesting articles in this issue.

Those who are not members of the Space Unit and haven't received this issue have missed something of special interest.

All times are CT (US)
