David, GREAT to have you there. When will you be at the show? When will you be able to staff the SU booth? We need to staff the booth for a majority of the show. |

I can certainly help man the booth. Who else will be there? |

Sure wish I was closer to the Virginia area as I would love to attend and help out.The only ATA-Space Unit get together that I know of in my area on the Florida Space Coast was back in the 80's. It was at my place on Merritt Island with Ray Burton, Ang Taiani, Ralph Yorio, Russ Smith, Al Colella, Kent Nolen (I believe), along with a few others. It's the only time that I can recall having a SU meet in Florida. There will be a space show this Aug. 12th at the Cape history center. I'll be there as a contributing sponsor and vendor. If there are any SU members out there, by all means, come on over and see us and the show. I'll make sure to have many space covers there.

Ken, let's have a meeting during ASF Space Rendezvous in November! |

Let's do it Chris! The vendor show is on the 4th, therefore, I'll try to be open on any other day that suits everyone else in addition to all the regular ASF functions. |

I have sent some private messages without response so I am posting here... I am disappointed as Secretary of the Space Unit to learn about this event on a message board. |

David, this came together fairly quickly when a couple members decided to go to the show. I was able to contact the APS to secure a Society table. Posting here seemed like a logical place to alert members. There will be no official meeting, just hanging out at the booth is the plan.A list of email address should be put together so we can send out a mass alert for the next get together. |

Dave, the buttons were a big hit at the Space Unit booth Saturday and Sunday. Along with the copies of the Astrophile they nicely represented the Space Unit.We had a good group of 7 or 8 space covers collectors, several that I know of including myself found some nice covers at the dealer tables. |
