I picked up a cover with an Oct. 25, 1968 KSC cancel with a cachet for the HOG Study Group. Can anyone shed some information on it? Thanks.

I encountered a HOG postmark a while ago and according to my notes:

The “HOG” designation refers to the Hermann Oberth Gesellschaft (Society) which is an association named after Hermann Oberth, the German astronautics pioneer, which develops and builds rockets and trains engineers in space technology.

Perhaps there was a conference or something going on that day?
