Was this pictorial cancel ever offered by the post office? I noticed this cancel in another. I am going to research the Postal Bulletins from 1994 to see if it was publicized. |

My initial research of the first three months of the 1994 Postal Bulletins shows no cancel like the one shown was offered by the Postal service. The post office in the cancel was Houston, Texas 77058. |

I don't recall it being issued at Houston in February 1994 for STS-60 as I have a feeling it was not an authorized postal cancel for a few reasons. One being that the word "Station" was not included. It appears to be of German-origin (perhaps Fuchs was trying to have it authorize for the highlight shuttle mission, but could not). |

I do not remember having noticed this postmarker, being announced or available for mail in. As already mentioned by Ken, it does not bear the name of any station where it could have been used. As Ken mentions the name Carsten Fuchs, I remember many phantasy products by this dealers that do not live up to philatelic standards. It seems like a personal cachet to me. | |
