I showed my collection at World Stamp Show New York 2016. When I picked up my exhibit at VĂ–Ph, the union of Austrian stamp societies in Wien, Austria last Friday, a page with two most valuable rocket-flown Gerhard Zucker covers was missing.

Our commissioner received the Austrian collections in New York. As he explained to me, he checked the collections together with his wife and handed them to a shipping company.

I am willing to pay 1200 EUR reward, if both covers return undamaged.

If you are going to spend some serious money, I would get a lawyer. Isn't the exhibition insured? Or the shipping company? Posting it here will help anyone here ID the thief, or contact eBay, Amazon, etc. corresponding departments, as well.

Sorry you experienced such a theft.

Me, too, Walter, as I am so sorry to hear about something like this happening.

But you do have some sort of insurance provider for both the exhibition covers and from the shipping handler, correct?

Of course, though, I know it would be much better to have the actual missing flown covers back in your own rocket mail collections. I hope they do show up; good luck!

Wehaveliftoff and Ken, thank you for support. Soon our insurance company and police will search the missing items.

A cousin of mine is a very good lawyer. As soon as I feel he can help me he will be involved.

Of course I want the two unique items back rather than money.

There is also a general problem: As long as items disappear on their way between collectors and exhibition, many collectors will deny to show scarce and valuable items at stamp exhibitions in future.

Walter, so sad to read a bad new as this.

I sincerely hope that this page with these two rocket covers come back to you soon and this would be only a temporary lost.

Maybe this page was enclosed in the sending of another exhibitor or simply maybe it was misplaced.

Please, if finally this page comes to you I will appreciate if you inform us.

At the moment you have paid a very high price for your Gold medal in NY2016.

All my support and a big hug Walter.

If you haven't done so please don't forget to contact the APS, American Philatelic Society about the theft. They are very good about about making the the philatelic community aware of the loss.
