Can anyone provide any information on whether the Apollo 15 lunar surface-flown covers were in David Scott's spacesuit pocket while he walked on the moon or if they were just in the lunar module? I have heard it both ways. Thanks. |

According to NASA release 72-189, issued Sept. 15, 1972: These 398 [covers] were properly packaged for flight and carried on board Apollo 15 by Scott in a pocket of his space suit. |

Do you think on the way to the Apollo 15 start after lunch, Dave Scott has still the bundle 298 crew covers in his leg pocket? |
