Do the following space covers exist?
  1. May 1, 1957 Vanguard TV-1
  2. October 23, 1957 Vanguard TV-2
  3. December 6, 1957 Vanguard TV-3
  4. February 5, 1958 Vanguard TV-3BU
  5. March 5, 1958 Explorer-2
  6. May 27, 1958 Vanguard SLV-1
  7. June 26, 1958 Vanguard SLV-2
  8. April 13, 1959 Discoverer-2
  9. June 22, 1959 Vanguard SLV-6
If anybody can provide scans of any of these covers assuming they exist, please share scans.

John, in more than 40 years of collecting, I have never seen any covers for the launches you list. Apparently nobody produced covers for failures way back then. You can also add Explorer-5 (8-24-58) to that list.

You can see a hand-painted envelope from Discoverer 2 in American Astrophilately available at www.AmericanAstrophilately.com Have never seen any of the others, however.
