As many of you know, long time collector and cover servicer, Mrs. Wanda Smith (of the Titusville-Moonport Stamp Club), was injured in a fall some time ago & has been undergoing therapy & rehabilitation. Her loving husband, Russ, has told me that Wanda is now able to walk with a walker with some assistance. Christmas cards & notes from her friends would mean a lot to her at this time: Mrs. Wanda Smith Vista Manor Rm. 126B 1550 Jess Parrish Court Titusville, FL 32796 |

Long-time cover servicer for the Titusville-Moonport Stamp Club, Wanda Smith, is recovering quite well from her year-long stay at the Vista Manor rehab facility in Titusville, FL. During a recent visit this week, I was quite pleased to see Wanda doing so well in her continued therapy and rehabilitation, and with husband Russ always at her side. Wanda has improved so much since her fall nearly a year ago. We had a quite pleasant conversation and even discussed, along with Russ too, early plans for preparing the T-MSC cachet covers for the next Shuttle mission (STS-114/Atlantis) we hope sometime late next year. I know Wanda (and Russ) would enjoy hearing from space cover/stamp collectors this Holiday season, especially those that worked with Wanda throughout her long-time space cover association with their stamp club. Feel free to use the address provided by Bob McLeod in which the topic was started. Thanks, Bob, in remembering Wanda and Russ during this special season. |

They are two very special people who would enjoy & appreciate being remembered especially at this time of the year. Glad that you visited with them, Ken, as I'm sure that meant a lot to Wanda. BMc |
