I'm sure there are many variations of pins like these, but since Armstrong and Lovell both owned a set, I'm wondering if these specific pins were an internal NASA release, not a general piece of merchandise. If anyone happens to know more, I'd be very grateful for any information. Thank you!

Do you have a picture of the back? These look like standard retail releases to me, and likely not from the time of the launches based on what I've observed. I would love to hear other collector input on these. Seeing the back is helpful for clarifying their origin, though.

Here's a picture of the back of the Armstrong pin. It doesn't have any logos or copyright information. The details on the front of the pin (particularly the lunar surface) are unique enough that this can probably be linked to the run from which it came. But the back doesn't help us much.
