The filmmaker, whose movies include "Alien" and "Blade Runner," designed a new mission patch for the National Laboratory on the International Space Station (ISS). Revealed Wednesday (June 13), Scott found his inspiration for the new insignia in centuries-old artwork. |

I can honestly say it is one of the most hideous space patches I've seen. Creepy, non-descriptive, not easy to tell if female or male. I fail to see the similarity to the "Angels Worshiping" artwork.Thumbs down in my opinion. |

You know, when at first glance it does make you take a shock, hmm moment, but you know something else comes to mind and matching to Ridley Scott, space. Who knows what is out there? Do they really have to look exactly like us? Like our conceptions? Go the other direction, alien life form, cyberman, machineman, tissue to look "like" us. Starts to look cool... | |
