I'm trying to find out how scarce Mercury program personnel ID badges are.

My search found two sales of round badges and one up for sale on eBay right now. Two of the badges have a "2" on them and the other has a "1". Anybody know what that means?

I'm also trying to find out how scarce the rectangular badges are. Any help would be appreciated. Reference: pages 231 and 232 of "Relics of the Space Race" by Russell Still.

All times are CT (US)
