There's a very, very nice article about crew patches by Dora Jane Hamblin called "Spacecraft Anonymous" that was published in the October 8, 1968 issue of Life magazine. I tried to get permission to republish it on my space patches website, but the copyright holder (Time Inc.) wanted $750 for just the text (photos not included), so that never happened.

BUT, since the full content of Life magazine is now available online, I thought I'd point out that you can read this article at their archive site. Enjoy!
