Are there any nice-looking Apollo 7 beta cloth patches? All I've seen are "spotted" in the black or dark blue area around the Earth.

That's because the artwork for this emblem has a somewhat "mottled" grey-and-black look in that area (and in blue shades in the oceans). There must be an artist's name for that style...very '60s.
