If you check out the space station gallery on the NASA Human Spaceflight site you'll see photos from the recent EVA by Krikalev and Phillips. On John's shoulder is a special EVA patch instead of the crew patch. He tells me the embroidery is almost 3D. Heads up patch collectors something else to look for.

You have good eyes my friend. If you enlarge the photo of Tokarev, there on the table is exactly that patch.

I checked the NASA site again and found that Sergei's patch and the astronaut illustrated has red trim, while John's has blue trim.

I thought it might be a Pachenko. The man is amazing.
