I am interested in collecting patches and pins – with particular reference to the Astronauts and Cosmonauts I have actually met.

There seems to be a few stores selling such item, though I cannot find any place in the UK that sells Pins (and I would be very grateful if someone could tell me if there is one), but my questions are these.

Is there a definite sources for NASA patches and pins, and/ or Russian patches and pins.

Do various companies make and sell them, without any controls from NASA?

I’d appreciate any advice on this!

AB Emblem today produces all the mission patches and most of the project insignias for NASA. Their website is:

http://www.abemblem.com/

Countdown Creations, for whom I work, stocks the entire AB Emblem catalog of NASA patches as well as produces several of the project and special patches for NASA. Our website is:

http://www.countdowncreations.com/

Spaceview has been producing Mir and ISS Soyuz crew patches since 1994. Their designs can be ordered through a partnership with SpacePatches.info:

Finally, if you haven't already, I would suggest reading Eugene Dorr's introduction to collecting patches here on this site:

Hope that helps!

Thanks for you help. Just one further point. With PINS, I notice that severla companies seel them - but often only in sets ie.e full Apollo sets, or First 25 STS missions etc. I want to buy them individually because I want those PINS assocaited with those whom I have met.

Any ideas - espcially dealers in the UK?
