I originally wanted to build a model rocket utilizing D/E sized engine, but unfortunately the all metal composition would violate the Safety Code of NAR and that of most clubs. That said, has anyone created a scale model from discarded cans and aerosol cans?

If so, which model have you built using these materials and do you have any construction tips/techniques? I'm trying to decide if it's worth keeping the cans or pitching them in the recycling. Thanks!
