New here, so I thought I would introduce myself with my latest project. This is the Revell reissue of the Monogram 1/48 First Lunar Landing kit. Updates include the New Ware H Mission and MESA detail sets and Space Model Systems decals and window acetates for the commander and docking windows. The bare aluminum strips between the ascent stage panels were cut from silver decal trim film. Foils are from Candyland Crafts. I custom printed decals for the crew patches and flag. Cast sections of the solar wind experiment and flag were replaced with aluminum foil. The commander's Hasselblad camera was fashioned from the spare TV camera in the MESA kit. The EASEP pull tapes are paper strips. I puttied in the cast shadow on the base.

Well done indeed! You have the correct color on the ascent stage too, impressive. |
