The Kansas Cosmosphere's Cargo Bay Store lists the Charlie Duke-signed edition of the command module as available. |

We were at the Cosmosphere three weeks ago and they did have a signed one on display. The last, unsigned one, I saw on eBay went for over their asking price. |

Mastercraft Collection has the Apollo 11 in stock and ready to ship from California. We also have an extensive collection of museum quality handcrafted airplanes and ships. We have been manufacturing licensed wood mahogany models for the US for the 30 years. |

The feedback for this company indicates that their service is not 100%. I would not buy from them. They also sell the Apollo capsule for $449 and that price is guaranteed beatable as the regular "normal" price is $159. Also the picture shown is the signed by Charlie Duke version but the description does not mention signed. Buyer beware. |

Here is my reply to my recent order on Amazon ...these guys are crooks! Stay away! Due to high demand for the Mercury Capsule signed by Scott Carpenter, the item became unavailable. Unfortunately at this time we do not know when this item will come off of back order, and furthermore we can not guarantee when or if this item will come back into stock in the foreseeable future. |

Well, these models become harder to find and we might have to wait for the "Half Century" anniversary to see something similar again. |

I was curious if you received the full product with autograph and case. I ordered the Apollo 11 with Duke autograph and case for $159.00, but only received the capsule. I contacted Amazon.com and apparently the product was listed improperly. I decided to purchase the autographed version from the Astronaut Scolarship Foundation. |

I recieved nothing but an email saying they were out of stock followed by a coupon for 10% off my next order as an apology. I think they are legit just didn't have the product. I ordered a Mercury capsule from KSC, the Friendship 7, and I may send it to Glenn for an autograph if he signs 3D objects.I had very good results with the Apollo 11 from a Pilot Shop at airnav.com. I got that with in 7 days from the order - excellent service. However the website has red flags all over the place regarding its certificate so buyer beware! |

Daugherty - FYI just received back a 3D item signed by John Glenn TTM - a Danbury mint Friendship 7 base. Good luck. |

Great! Thanks for the heads up. I had sent him a photo and got it back fairly quickly but wasn't sure about the 3D stuff. I've ordered the Friendship 7 capsule from KSC and its backordered until February. As soon as it gets in I will give it a try. |

Does anyone know if TMC plan to re-issue the Code 3 Lunar Module, Lunar Rover and Apollo Astronaut? Having missed out on these the first time round I'd love to get hold of the complete set.(I've just received the Gemini capsule but still waiting for the Mercury and Apollo to arrive.)

I’m after the dimensions of the plexi base/cases that are supplied with the signed Code 3/TMC Mercury, Gemini, Apollo Capsules and the Saluting Astronaut. I'd like to get some made up for my own models. Any help is much appreciated.

Like the above post, I need a replacement hatch for the Mercury capsule. A drop of about four feet snapped the corner of my hatch off. Small imperfection now, but its driving me crazy. I don't want to buy a new model for a hatch. I wrote the company but no response. Any help? |

Just recently bought some cabinets to proudly display some of my models and came home today from work to find out that my nearly one year old son has kindly banged on the front of the unit and knocked my Gemini model of it's stand which broke one of the doors.Does anyone know if you can get a replacement door or am I looking at having to replace the whole model which I really don't want to do? The door can be glued as it is a neat and clean break but I am really fussy about my models and like them in pristine condition. Can anyone advise on this issue? Editor's note: Threads merged. |

I have emailed every one I can find associated with these models to try to find a new hatch for my Mercury capsule. I have not even had a reply saying no. like you I am particular but I guess I will have to live with it or buy a new model just for the door. |

You might imagine my thrill when I saw Toys & Models Apollo capsule signed by Charlie Duke for $131. However, I received it today, and it's the plain old unsigned model. It's on its way back to Amazon. Thought I'd save you the disappointment if you had seen this on Amazon and were planning to order. |

Thanks for the heads up. I had seen this yesterday and was trying to come up with the money for it. Now I don't have to. |

About a year ago I too bought the same capsule which was to have been signed by Charlie Duke. Unfortunately, it was not. I did contact Amazon and returned the item. At the time they removed it from the website but apparently it has returned. |
