The third one of the first row is the classic O'Neill L-5 Colony.

See, e.g., http://www.l5news.org/oneillcylinder.htm

The Apollo CM is to commemorate the first manned spacecraft on the far side of the moon, December 1968 with Apollo 8.

A) The moon is clearly figured that way.
B) There's an '8' on the text below :-)

Lovell flights are well represented. This A8 and the A13 with exploded panel on StarTales set 1.

I have to say that I love my StarTales set 1 as much as the Code3 or Danbury stuff. They are so nice, I can't wait to buy this new set...

My wish list (hopefully included in this set..):

  • The Vostok Capsule of Yuri Gagarin, in flight or on the ground.
  • ASTP
  • a V1 and a V2
  • The 2001 Sapce Od. monolith on the moon (since there's Sci-Fi stuff now)

There are two series in STARTALES 2.
Upper photos are labelled as "White frontier" or "White pioneer".
(Sorry now confusing informations.)

Left to right, up to bottom:

  1. MIR space station
  2. VOYAGER probe
  3. O'Neill Cylinder : The third type of space colony
  4. Launch preparation of SOYUZ
  5. Mars globe and MARS probe
  6. Mars life form
  7. Galactic System (Photo is available at here.)
  8. Secret model : no photo.
And second series are labeled as "Black frontier". (I don't know what means 'White' or 'Black')
  1. Apollo 8
  2. Space walking
  3. SkyLab
  4. Launch of SOYUZ
  5. Jupiter globe and PIONEER probe
  6. Falling MIR
  7. Galactic System (I don't know this is the same as 'White' one or not.)
  8. Secret model : no photo.

I haven't been able to find a source for these. Can anyone recommend one (prefereably over the web)? I'm in the USA.

-Thanks.
