I am interested in any information on how and where the Huygens probe interface simulator was used.

The labeled outputs on the back and on the tabs of the two special purpose boards correspond to the block diagram of the command and data management system of the Huygens Probe. The box is a VME bus system with two CPU boards and a SBus to VMEbus board (bottom three boards shown in picture). The shaded blocks shown in the upper right and left of the block diagram seem to be what is simulated by this system.

Any information on the use of this simulator would be welcomed.

All times are CT (US)
