Between June 1959 and November 1968 almost 200 X-15 flights were made. Only two passed the 100 km altitude and 11 flights went above 80 km altitude.
Some pilots wore the Bulova Accutron "Astronaut" wrist watch and I'm trying to find out when "Astronaut" was added on the dial and if any Bulova watches were worn during those missions above 50 miles?

Astronaut is added to the Bulova Accutron dial in 1963. Not sure if one ever went above 50 miles in the X-15.
Here are three good links to articles about the Bulova Astronaut watch and its use by X-15 pilots.

The Accutron has been reintroduced but this time as opposed to running off a battery it has a unique new power technology dependent on static electric generation. Styling is inspired by the classic Spaceview model of 1960 but it's now bulkier.

I know that Gordo Cooper wore a Bulova on MA-9.

I examined the new Accutron at a local jewelry store and it’s a really beautiful watch. But it’s very strange and quirky. If it's set down for a period of time it’ll put itself into a hibernation or power saving mode. The hands will go to twelve and it’ll stop running. But when you pick it up it senses the motion and wakes up. The hands reset themselves to the proper time.
