I remember that I used to have a piece of the Soyuz T-11 capsule, if I remember correctly. They were sold about 25 years ago, were pentagonal in shape, and were mounted on a four-page card that was about 3.5 by 5 in size. I remember the pieces came directly from Russia, as I kept it in the mailing envelope, and also if I remember correctly, were being sold for about $80 each. The cards also bore fascimile printed signatures of the crew. Anyone remember these and know how many were made? |

I was just reading some 1987 Air and Space magazines and saw the small ad for them. If the details (company, location, etc.) would help let me know and I'll type them out. |

I remember them and have a couple in my collection, one with a genuine signature in addition to the pre-print. Have no idea how many were made though, sorry.

That's it! Not looking for one, but it would have been neat to give to Sharma when I saw him on Sunday.

I had a similar presentation in the form of a laminated trading card with a small piece of metal attached it to. These were products of the All-Russian Youth Aerospace Society (VAKO) "Soyuz," the first scientific-educational youth society in Russia, headed by cosmonaut Alexander Serebrov. |
