Anton Shkaplerov shared this photo of Elena Serova and Samantha Cristoforetti in honor of International Women's Day. This must be a record for the most stuffed animals in space at one time...

Cool! Reminds me of the stuffed bear, Magellan T. Bear, in a flight suit and goggles on display at the National Air and Space museum in Washington that earned a couple thousand miles traveling as the first 'official' teddy bear in space (a record noted by the IAF, perhaps? )

It flew on STS-63/Discovery in 1995, and also went to Space Camp; flew on the first Boeing 777 flight, and even made it to the South Pole! Those little bears aboard ISS would make impressive ambassadors for spaceflight if they are sent on a 'tour' of museums and education centers.

All times are CT (US)
