I had a random thought and question, has any one ever recovered the launch escape tower from the Apollo missions? I'm not sure if anyone has tried to restore one let alone locate one in the Atlantic similar to what the Kansas Cosmosphere is undertaking with the F-1 first stage engines.

On a side note, would a planned recovery of the Orion escape tower occur to commemorate the first test launch?

All times are CT (US)
