I have what I believe is a Mercury-era Attitude Indicator. I would like to know everything I can about this item.
Is this an important piece in space history?
The only other photo I was able to find was one with different colored dials.

It would be helpful to see the data plate on the unit showing the part number, etc.
You are right about the colors - the flight unit had different colors for some needles.

A photo of the top plate has been posted. Again any information is greatly appreciated.

In all the photos I've taken Roll is in white, Pitch is Tan, Yaw is Yellow.
Some of the early models had the retro attitude indicator marked at 45'. This was later changed to 34'.

Are there any date stamps on the unit that might indicate when it was made? Do you have a photo of the rear of the unit? I am trying to research other potential uses.
