Topic: Report Faults NASA on Equipment Losses

A report in today's NY Times says NASA has not been tough enough on employees who casually misplace equipment. Here's the excuse given for a missing $4,000+ laptop: quote: This computer, although assigned to me, was being used on board the International Space Station. I was informed that it was tossed overboard to be burned up in the atmosphere when it failed.
