Has anyone found a way to display all the commemorative medals issued recently? I have all on their own plastic pedestals at the moment, but I was thinking of a wall display case. I have found "challenge coin" display cases on eBay but they seem to be designed to display without the capsule. I'd prefer to keep them in the capsule (pedestal optional). Any suggestions? |

A specialist framer could probably make you a reasonably priced bespoke matting which you could display in a regular frame.I did the same with my Mercury, Gemini and Apollo coins several years ago. |

You can use shadow boxes as I do as seen here seen here. These you can get on eBay. |

I use sfDisplay.com for mine and their larger spacing version will hold the Winco medals in their cases but not the MACOs. I've asked them to create a new size for MACOs, but they haven't yet. Note the displays are slightly inconsistent in sizing at times, and millimeter tolerance can make a difference... I've had a few rows that will NOT hold the Winco medals, but eventually yes, they've all been displayed. |

Thanks space-E. That's exactly what I had in mind. Are the shelves removable? My idea would be to place a mirror on the back. |

No, the shelves can't be adjusted in anyway, which is a mild frustration — if I could adjust, I could move to make more space for MACO's or something like that. And they go straight to the back, no space for mirrors or anything like that. They do have mirrored versions though I think, and they also have displays that aren't wall units, but blocks that sit on tables — flip through the site, see what might work for you. Also, space-coins.com has a frame that displays both sides. They are available in different sizes, I think, and that might be better than a mirror which requires a lot of space so you'd be able to see the backside: |
