There were 80 bronze Robbins medallions for Skylab III. Any other examples of bronze Robbins medallions? |

I've wondered the same and haven't yet seen any from other flights. |

According to SpaceFlownArtifacts.com, no other bronze Robbins were made except for those 80. |

I have only seen one bronze Robbins Apollo era medallion. It was for Apollo 17. Any other bronze Apollo era Robbins medallions?I put the Apollo 17 bronze up for auction. Opinions welcome. |

I knew of the silver and gold Robbins medals, but never seen/heard of a bronze. Is it a replica medallion made by a different company? |

Some I found with a quick scan. From an RR auction: Collection of 109 Shuttle Robbins medallions, including rare bronze test proofs, Unique collection of 109 unflown Space Shuttle Robbins medallions, comprising 102 sterling silver medals and 7 rare pre-production bronze examples, ranging from STS-1 to STS-132. These rare Robbins medals originate from the collection of a Robbins Company executive, and therefore have some unique traits: the bronze examples lack serial numbers, as do the sterling silver medals for STS-1 and STS-51-B; the bronze medallions and the sterling STS-51-B medallion are also missing their typical hallmarks. |

Interesting Tim — that means the bronze were just company proof tests of what would become the real sterling silver Robbins medals for production. In the numismatic world, this can either be a good thing, or not have much value at all. Need to do some more research to see which way the market has been valuing these over time. |
