I'm not a coin collector at all but I stopped dead in my tracks last month when I was at (adult) Space Camp and on the final day, saw a display case filled with Robbins medallions, in the hall you pass by going to the IMAX theater (which is why I'd never noticed them before then, you never go down that hall unless you're going to see a movie). Most - if not all- appeared to be flown ones. The case was two-sided so you could wrap your eyes around the back with a little dexterity.I need to break out my photos but I did take one shot of the case. The other people from Space Camp were non-plussed until I explained what these coins were likely worth to collectors! I'm sure several of you here know about this collection, what's the story with that? | |
