Wow! By my count, more than thirty-flown Robbins medallions will be auctioned by Heritage and RR Auction in the next six-weeks. The list includes four medallions from Apollo-17 (5% of its Robbins flown medallions). Any thoughts about how the large supply will impact values? |

It's true that we're seeing an enormous number of medallions and at the same time Robbins medallions are becoming a kind of mainstay of space auctions. The thing is, once a deep-pocketed collector buys one of these medallions there is a strong temptation for them to try to collect one from each mission to complete a 'set'. This means a steadily increasing demand that can maybe outweigh the impressive supply we're seeing in recent years. |

So which are the 'cheaper' flown Robbins medals? I would like to get one for my collection without taking out a 2nd mortgage. |

Less expensive Robbins would be those flown from Apollo 7, 9, 10 and unflown versions from 15 - 17, would be my best bet. |
