I was paraphrasing Glynn Lunney last week when I said "If you're going to the Moon, you've got to go the Moon."Can anyone remember the correct wording of the phrase and, ideally, where it can be found? |

The quote is from "Go, Flight! The Unsung Heroes of Mission Control, 1965-1992" by Rick Houston and Milt Heflin. Here's the full citation: The truth is, if you're going to go to the moon, sooner or later, you've got to go to the moon. Now you can hunch around and do little things in Earth orbit and so on and so on, but if you want to go to the moon, then eventually, you've got to go to the moon. |
