I have (had) about six National Geographic magazine special editions (latest was "Are We Alone"). Does anyone out there have a list of these editions?

I've lost a few and can't seem to find them for replacement...

Mike, I have about 30(?) space related National Geographics sitting on my shelf. If I have time, I will post a list or email you a list.

Thanks mate. I thought I had all the "special" issues dedicated to space... apparently not!! Naturally, I have bucket loads of the monthly issues back to 1946 with sections devoted to space, but these oversised issues?

Had seven in all.

  • The New Universe (foreword Aldrin)

Does anyone have more to add to the list?

They are just superb. I have seven in all and they take pride in my bookcase.

I'm not sure what are National Geographic special editions.

In the same format as the standard edition with space topic making the cover:

  • Destination Pluto, July 2015
  • Race to the Red Planet, November 2016
Larger format issues (special publications):
  • The Next Earth: What our World Can Teach Us About Other Planets, 2017.
  • Interstellar: The Science and Secrets of Solar Systems, 2016.
  • Astronauts: Past, Present, Future, 2017.

Thank you for that and the time taken for typing the titles.

The "Interstellar" is now on the search list.

Not sure if this counts, but I've found "Guide to the Night Sky" from 2015.

Thanks gentleman. Knew of "Night Sky" so will have a look at it. Found a brand new "Interstellar" on eBay OZ yesterday for $10.

Wish they'd do one on space stations.
