"The Apollo Story," Sky at Night Collector's Edition magazine is now out priced £7.99. It covers all Apollo missions from 1-6, then 7-17, plus Sir Patrick Moore's tribute to Neil Armstrong, the background to the Space Race, Apollo Q&A, and Space Race time line. |

Lot of Brit magazines wind up at Barnes & Noble stores, I'll try looking at my local one in a couple of weeks or so as stuff takes a while to cross the pond. Anything just showing up in UK book stores won't be in any US sellers yet. |

As p51 noted, some (not all) B & N stores carry Sky at Night and its special editions. The monthly magazine typically shows up on the shelf of my local store in about the third week of the cover month. The Apollo edition will likely make it here eventually; just keep checking.

A nice collectable. Don't think it has anything in it we don't already know though and a bit punchy at £7.99? |

Bought a copy of this today at Park Meadows B&N. Typically excellent Sky at Night presentation with great photos, a timeline summary of each mission, and a vignette for each...such as Apollo 11's "1202 alarm," Apollo 12's lightning strike, etc. Well worth picking up. |

I waited two weeks for the magazine to arrive from the UK. I also picked up a copy at Barnes & Noble. |

Incidentally, the Apollo 11 bios page states that Mike Collins died in 2005. You'd think he'd have noticed by now |
