I received in the mail today the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) newsletter with a recap of their recent activities including the last autograph show. Looking through it I came across a photo of Eileen Collins signing a large print depicting the SCA, shuttle, and C-9 with a sunrise background.I couldn't tell from the shot if this was a painting or an enlargement of a photograph, but my guess is it was artwork, and it looked great. Unfortunately a search online has turned up nothing, so I was wondering if anyone here who attended the show might have seen it or otherwise knows of it. For those who get the ASF materials, take a look at page 11. Thank in advance for any tips. |

I thought I had seen something resembling your description in the Dryden SCA image archive but I cant find it in there!I'd be interested to see it when someone does turn it up. |

The photo is of Endeavour departing Florida taken by Karl Ronstrom of First Photo Studio in Cocoa Beach, Fla.I believe the particular print shown in the newsletter being signed by Eileen Collins was auctioned off by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. |

Thanks Robert... that's the image all right. Unfortunately I've been all over his website and can't find it on there. |

I don't think it is on his website, but contact Karl (either by phone or e-mail; the latter is the watermark on the photo above) and I'm sure he can help you... |
