Has anyone else read this? Moon Hoax by Paul Gillebaard is a novel about a shuttle astronaut on a mission to orbit the moon and take high resolution photos to prove Americans landed there. (Yeah, I know the idea we didn't land is ridiculous... but many people don't know any better.)Anyway, the novel is kind of fun because we experience a SpaceX like manned flight, a Soyuz finally getting into lunar orbit, a Chinese lunar mission, a trip to the ISS and a bunch of other things that haven't happened (yet). I've written about the book here. |

I've read it. Nice piece of speculative fiction for a first effort."What about the LRO pix?" you ask. Well, the Chinese blast it to bits with a farside laser installed there clandestine-ly in the first chapter. The book is well thought out, and moves pretty fast. Paul Gillebaard will be at Spacefest.
