Interesting interview (not entirely surprising since Chaikin clearly has a knack for it). He and I are on the same wavelength.Reading his discussion of Mars and the Mind of Man, it reminded me how far we have come in our basic knowledge of the cosmos in the last 30 or 40 years. We forget the fact that not so long ago we really didn't know all that much. Hopefully we'll be able to say the same thing 40 years from now. Thanks for the link - wouldn't have seen this otherwise. | |
