After last year's big Apollo 17 misplacement, I didn't know if I'd ever update the calendar. Then I looked up over my desk and noticed the big hole and decided to give it a Go! for 2017.The budget didn't allow for another round of pro printing and shipping, so I decided to do a smaller version (code name "Shorty"), whilst trying to keep all the info. The calendar was rotated to landscape and redesigned for legal size paper (8.5x14), a size that almost every home printer can handle (there's a note on 1/1 with printing instructions). The date boxes shrunk vertically (especially April, July, December — 6-week lines). The typeface for the timeline items was changed to a version like you'd find in a phone book. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to leave any text out — and was actually able to add a few new things (like splashdown areas). Some of the pictures were changed, birthdays dropped and a glossary and revised key were added. Missing are the fancy name, front and back pages — just the 12 months — striped down for speed! The resulting PDF is significantly smaller in size — so small you can send copies by email to whomever you want, so send a copy to your friends at NASA, museums or elsewhere in the industry! |

Appreciate all of your kind words!Another space-related website has expressed interest in posting a copy for download. This will enhance availability and I'm pretty stoked about it. So, I had to ensure that it was as accurate as possible. Here is an updated version (the original link has been updated as well), now complete with cover page, some additions and minor corrections (like febRuary!). Thanks for your support! |

My 2017 calendar is now available for download at Cliff Lethbridge's Spaceline website. They've also posted it on several other pages, including those for the individual programs: Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo. If you know of other websites that might interested, drop me a note.
