To celebrate the 40th anniversary of its Apollo flights, NASA has debuted the first of a series of animated comics dedicated to the Apollo 7 mission, as part of an interactive feature on NASA.gov.

Each of the subsequent comics will debut with the anniversary of each of the missions.

Nicely done, but too bad they suggest that the mission flew with a command module only...

I agree Ed. When I first saw the graphic, I thought it was yours. I know they wanted to focus on the test flight of the CM but they really should have included the SM as well.

It's a great idea though.

Another minor nitpick would be - all three of the crew did not catch colds, only two.

Probably not the best idea to have jettisoned the apex cover while still in orbit, either...

They mixed up Rusty and McDivitt. They made McDivitt the redhead. Otherwise I like these videos a lot.

They really need to correct that - and pay attention - otherwise Buzz will take the first step on the Moon.

I alerted NASA to their mix-up and they have now corrected the "animation anomaly".
