Topic: Apollo 11-themed movies and tv shows

I'm trying to brainstorm movies and television series episodes whose main plot revolved around the flight of Apollo 11. I'm talking Hollywood feature films here, not documentaries or miniseries like "From The Earth To The Moon".I've come up with "Pontiac Moon", "The Dish" and "Fly Me To The Moon". Any other obvious ones that I'm missing? For television, I've got "A Walton Easter" (John Boy reports on the flight) and "Cold Case". Is that the episode in which Buzz Aldrin appeared? |

I believe you may be confusing "Numbers" with "Cold Case". From what I can recall, the Apollo 11 episode of "Cold Case" had no astronaut cameos. |

I'm not necessarily talking about cameos, but simply plotlines. According to the Internet Movie Database, an episode of "Cold Case" featured the investigation of a murder in which a boy was found dead the day after the landing. The name of the episode is actually "One Small Step." |

There is a feature film, simply called "Apollo 11", made (I think) in 1996. |

I realize, but you had asked if Buzz Aldrin appeared in that Apollo 11 episode of "Cold Case". Aldrin appeared on the series "Numbers" but I do not believe he appeared on "Cold Case". |
