I've decided to collect some official NASA mission photos. I have a couple of questions, or rather requests for recommendations:

What are a couple of good websites that can tell me about what kind of photos/lithos were produced and when (details about which had serial numbers, etc.), and for what purposes?

What are good sources for such vintage photos?

Thanks,
Steve

Assuming it's the Apollo era you're interested in, hard to go past this site to track down photos and serial numbers.

This site has quite a few for sale.

I can recommend Jerome and his site Apollo Mission Photos. I have dealt with him for a number of years now and he has always been more than fair and above board.

He is a good guy!

He has been having ISP and health issues lately which has made contact spotty of late but he always gets back to you and comes up with the goods.

Regards,

Rick

Indeed good comments on Jerome's Apollo Mission Photo Plus website. His webpages clearly show the difference between the original hard cardboard Kodak paper photos with red serial numbers, the mass produced lithos and the reprinted photos.

I agree about Jerome. I have made a couple of purchases from him. He has great stuff, and his customer service can't be beat

All times are CT (US)
