I recently found this CD while noodling around on eBay. The gist of the CD is 6 portions with Transmissions from Apollo 11 during the mission, and President Kennedy's speeches about Apollo... includes also the "Genesis" transmissions from Apollo 8.

It's really very well done, and interesting to listen to those transmissions again after all this time.

Is this the CD to which you refer? If so, what is meant by "...with expressions of faith not cut out of soundtrack"?

Yes, Robert... that's the one. What they mean by that is that it's not censored to appease the (for lack of a better term) non-believers. Obviously Sonrise is a Christian music dealer, and this CD does have, as I said, Genesis by the 8 crew, portions of Kennedy's speeches mention God and Religion. The bulk of the CD however are the transmissions of the crew and Mission Control. Chapters are "Pursuit of an Ancient Dream", "Outward Bound", "The Eagle descends", "Exploring the unknown", "A Lunar Fairwell", and "Return to the Oasis".

I like it 'cause I can listen to it in the car..." Roger Twank... Tranquillity... we copy you on the ground"

All times are CT (US)
