The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's Apollo 12 gala showed some entertaining footage of an interview with Pete Conrad. Does anyone know the source?

I'm also interested in finding any interview footage with Shepard and Irwin - the two other moonwalkers I never had a chance to meet. Any recommendations?

Greetings, I provided Bean with the Conrad material, and the comedy clips that were used at the Apollo 12 gala. Drop me an e-mail.

Shepard footage was on the Moonshot documentary that is now out of print. Shepard is also seen on a forum panel on the bonus DVD included with Ed Buckbee's The Real Space Cowboys... along with Armstrong, Lovell, and (I believe) Cernan.

You might have already seen these short YouTube clips:

Come to think of it, I've never seen any interview footage with Jim Irwin. I would also like to track something down, if possible.

There was a great documentary done back in 1990 titled "The Other Side of the Moon". This production featured nice interviews with Irwin, Worden, Mitchell, Roosa, Schweickart, Aldrin, Bean, Aldrin and Conrad. I kind of consider this show to be the precursor to "Shadow of the Moon" and "Wonder of it All".

Thanks guys.

What would be really interesting is a compilation DVD along the lines of the Baldanza Footprints book, with "chapters" of video interviews with each of the moonwalkers, collated from other sources. Very often the written word fails to portray the real character of these individuals.

The documentary Moonshot shows interviews with lots of Apollo astronauts including Shepard.

Also I remember a series called Spaceflight narrated by Martin Sheen it shows Conrad and also Deke Slayton.

I saw a interview with Irwin only one time. Back in 1989 on German tv there was a show about astronauts but also cosmonauts. There were portraits of Ed Mitchell, Jim Irwin but also Anna and Bill Fisher, Alexei Leonov and Reinhard Furrer. Does any of our German members remember this?

Paul, is there any old footage about with Alan Shepard as a guest on 'A Round with Alliss'?

Alan Shepard hosted a program called Man in Space.

He was also a participant in a National Museum of Naval Aviation symposium along with Schirra, Lovell, Cernan and Armstrong.
