This afternoon, my husband offered me this book:  Book written by astronaut Joe Allen, cosmonaut Vladimir Solovyov and ESA astronaut Patrick Baudry. First Edition 2007 (September) by Elytis. Don't begin read but seems very interesting. Book to commemorate the 50th of Sputnik. Did you know if the French version is the first or only version, or if this book is printing in others coutries? Not the first time to Joe Allen and Patrick Baudry collaborating for a book. And in November, a new book from Patrick Baudry (in the same edition house) to commemorate too this 50th years of space conquest:  Patrick Baudry is certainly one of the most prolific space books writer (I don't say of of the best writer; not always good and not always agree with him). Thanks LadyCosmos for pinpointing this book.Patrick Baudry is extremely critical of the state of current space programs (shuttle, space station). We're waisting time and money. For him, space exploration is to go the Moon, Mars and beyond. Chris. |

Patrick Baudry has ''give'' his name of Aviation Books Collection of Editions Atlas beetween 1991-1198). Not write by him but by americans authors. It's just the translation of these books, but to up the sale in France, the title is Patrick Baudry Présente :

And yes, It's an other Patrick Baudry (Pornographie et ses images). He is sociology and ethnology Professor in Bordeaux University. He is a specialist of urban ethnology, pornography and death and society...LadyCosmos | |
