Nice China TV documentary series, 4 episodes of 45 min. In Chinese, but lots of VERY nice sequences of taikonauts in training, leading up to Yang Liwei's flight. Lots of backgrounds and never-saw-that footage. I got my copy through eBay at $35, but here's the bargain: http://us.yesasia.com/en/Search/SearchResult.aspx Luc |

I've seen this and it is very interesting. It is all in Chinese, however, but you can make out a lot of the information.Lots of training pictures. Less on the spacecraft and rocket preparation than I wanted. |

Thanks, Luc. It worked. Still, the term "taikongnaut" is a strange one .... ------------------ Jürgen P Esders Berlin, Germany http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astroaddies |

Well, keep in mind that the term 'Taikonaut' was first used in the west... it is based on the Chinese word Taikong, meaning space. Luc |
